Business Development
George Magdaleno has three decades of business development and technology experience dating back to the early 1990s with Earthlink Network, the first nationwide Internet Service Provider (ISP) to offer an all-in-one flat monthly fee for dial up Internet access, which became the industry standard.
He then worked in sales at CitySearch, an Idea Lab company founded by Bill Gross, which provided localized ads in search results for restaurants and small businesses during the first internet boom.
Providing a mix of experience, including salesmanship and being technology-savvy, Mr. Magdaleno joined a vertically integrated contact management software provider – an early competitor of Salesforce.com – for Insurance Agents and Financial Advisors. This experience led him to a career as a management consultant focusing on software integration and agile project management.
In the marketing space, Mr. Magdaleno played a critical role in the growth of The Brainchild Group – a marketing and consulting firm founded by Aaron Schoenberger and John Dorsey in 2017. He led business development and strategy efforts.
Mr. Magdaleno received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
